Jenks Library provides campus access to the Chronicle of Higher Education. This means that anyone can access articles online at anytime and you can sign up to receive daily emails of newly released articles. 

This video shows you how to access and create an account so you can sign up for email newsletters:

Accessing the Chronicle of Higher Education.

  1. Go to the library homepage at www.gordon.edu/library.
  2. In the Search the Library section, click on the Journals tab.
  3. Select "Search Journal Finder."
  4. Enter the name Chronicle of Higher Education and click search.
  5. You will see a list of access options for The Chronicle. Click on the link that says "Publisher."
  6. If you are off-campus, you will be prompted to log in with your Gordon credentials.
  7. You should see a green checkmark with "premium access provided by Gordon College" in the upper right corner. This is what allows you to get access to articles.

Subscribing to Chronicle of Higher Education emails.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the CoHE website.
  2. Click on the link for "Newsletters."
  3. CoHE has a number of different newsletters you can subscribe to. You must create an account with CoHE first before subscribing to newsletters.
  4. Please create an account by navigating to the Chronicle using steps 1-6 above. You must be on-campus or logged in or your individual account will not be linked to the Gordon College subscription.
  5. Create an account by clicking the "sign in" button in the upper right corner. Follow the steps for creating an account from there.
  6. Once your account is created, you should be sent back to the Get Newsletters page. Click "sign up" on any newsletters you would like to receive via email.
  7. If you click the link to a premium article while off-campus, the Chronicle will not recognize you and display a screen saying the content is available exclusively to Chronicle subscribers and prompt you to subscribe. Click on the "Sign In" link in the upper right corner and log in with your personal Chronicle account to access premium content.
  8. Contact the library with any issues or questions.

Pedagogy Books

The following books are available to faculty at the Jenks Library. All books are housed on the third floor of stacks, to the right of the library lobby. 

Click on the title of each book to open the book's record in the NOBLE Catalog. Multiple copies are available of some books.
