HIS 371: History of Christianity in Asia: Primary Sources

The collection covers both primary and secondary source materials on Chinese Christians, missionaries stationed in China, church history, and other materials pertaining to the history of Christianity in China. Organized by the Hong Kong Baptist University.

The National Institute of Korean History (NIKH) - an institution better known among Koreans as “The National History Compilation Committee” - is a governmental agency of the Republic of Korea, the principal function of which is to collect, compile, and publish historical data relevant to research on Korean history.

The Chinese Text Project is an online open-access digital library that makes pre-modern Chinese texts available to readers and researchers all around the world. The site attempts to make use of the digital medium to explore new ways of interacting with these texts that are not possible in print. With over thirty thousand titles and more than five billion characters, the Chinese Text Project is also the largest database of pre-modern Chinese texts in existence. Chinese historical texts dated back to pre-Qin period to 1960s.
